Independent testing Services and Cargo Inspection conform to the quality Management System standard ISO 9001:2015. we are also a Superintendent and Surveyor Member of the Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA), a registered Superintendent Member of the Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations (FOSFA) Ltd, and a member of TIC Council, a trade association for inspection agencies and organizations that provide inspections, testing, and certification services internationally.

Independent Testing Services & Cargo Inspection was established in 2001, but its origins go back to 1997 when we took charge of inspecting barges and general cargo in Houston. The business stayed in the family for generations, growing and expanding, but also building a network of professional relationships in the shipping industry around the world.
In 2001, ITSCI was established as a company. After providing services to several types of cargo, the decision was made to focus exclusively on shipping operations for agriculturally based products. The company is continually developing and offers a total service based on commitment and expertise.
